Auckland Anzac Day services

Auckland’s central Anzac Day service is hosted at the Auckland Domain with the service starting at 6am. Prior to this the veterans will meet and march to the cenotaph before taking their places for the dawn service to start at the Court of Honour at the domain.

For those wanting to continue Macleans College Chorale will then host a programme of remembrance and reflection from 6.40am.

Auckland Domain – Parnell Road, Kingdon Street, The Davis Kingdon car park, 81 Carlton Gore Road,  80 on Broadway.

Wellington Anzac Day services

The dawn service in central Wellington starts at the Pukeahu National War Memorial Park at 5:30am with marches gathering ready to head to Anzac Square from 6am. The day then continues with Wellington’s Citizens’ Wreath Laying Service Cenotaph Precinct at corner of Lambton Quay and Bowen Street at 9am.

They’ll also be an Anzac Day National Commemoration Service at 11am at the Pukeahu National War Memorial Park for those who can’t make the 6am service.

Christchurch Anzac Day services

For the first time since the 2011 earthquakes the Anzac Day dawn service will be held at Cathedral Square at the recently re-opened Citizen’s war memorial. The service will take place from 6.15am-8am where war veterans will march from, Worcester Street to Cathedral Square.
