Watch The UK’s favourite comedian as he comes to NZ for his funny and light-hearted show, sure to have you rolling of your chair. Th show comes of the back of Russell recently filming his sixth series of The Russell Howard Show and his popular stand-up show from across the world.

What: Mitre 10 Sparks
Where: North Hagley Park, CHCH
When: 3rd Feb, 6:30pm

This free family friendly event features a specular firework display and Christchurch’s Symphony Orchestra, this year’s theme for the celebration is “music bringing us together” and it will bring the city centre alive with music, song, dance and fireworks! There also be food trucks for dinner and local signers brining the party atmosphere. The fireworks display starts at approx. 9:30pm.

What: Te Rā o Waitangi 2024
Where: Waitangi Park, WLG
When: 6th Feb, 12pm - 6pm

For Waitangi Day celebrations in Wellington head to Waitangi Park on Wellington’s waterfront for a day to celebrate Aotearoa. The day will include multicultural performances, activities for kids and lots of different food options.

What: Waitangi Day Hakari
Where: Lake House Takapuna, AKL
When: 6th Feb, 12pm -8pm

Looking for a free family event this Waitangi Day? Head to Takapuna Lake Pupuke. Here you can enjoy live music, Waitangi history films, Kapa haka shows, markets with arts and gifts, food stalls and lots of kiwiana sing alongs!

What: St Jerome Laneway Festival
Where: Western Springs, AKL 
When: 6th Feb

Head to the Laneway Festival in Auckland’s Western Springs on Waitangi Day to see a stellar line up of international stars! If you’re heading to the event there will be event buses leaving from Custom Street between 11am to 4;30pm.

Wellington Pasifika is on Saturday 10th February! The festival is expected to attract crowds of over 15,000 people and is the ultimate event to celebrate the Pacific Islands!

What: Synthony in The Domain
Where: The Domain, AKL
When: 10th Feb

For a party atmosphere with a twist head to Synthony in The Domain! Here synthony No.5 will reimagine the most well-known dance anthems and future classics! This world premiere will reinvent the biggest dance tracks as you’ve never heard them before with the power of a full live orchestra.

Blink-182 is returning for the first time in 10 YEARS for a massive global tour, and with new music hitting the scenes, it is bound to be a night to rock out to!

What: Auckland Live Summer in the Square (Free Events)
Where: Aotea Square, AKL    
When: 1 Feb – 25 Feb  

Aotea Square is bringing an array of FREE family entertainment to you right here in Aotea Square this Feb! The action packed events will be spread over 4 weekends – itinerary below:
- From the 1-6 Feb, String Symphony will be great for the kids as they will help bring a two storey high puppet to life.

- Afrofest 10 Feb, brings a celebration of African culture through fantastic music, inspiring dance and traditional food – popping on a great afternoon for the whole family.

- SUSO in the Square on 11 Feb brings to light some amazing up and coming young talent from up to 50+ secondary schools around Tamaki Makaurau. Check out the who is performing and at what time and go and show some love.

- During the weekend of the 16-18 Feb, Auckland Latin Festival hits Aotea square bringing you the opportunity to learn how to Salsa or Tango your way through the afternoon along side some authentic food stalls to feed your appetite. Vamos!!

- Get all the colours of the rainbow going and come and celebrate all acts of love at the Auckland Pride March this year. The march begins at 2pm in Aotea Square on 25 Feb.

Lastly celebrate the Lunar New Year in the Square 25 Feb from 10am – 7pm by welcoming the year of the Dragon with street dance crew performances, food trucks, plus craft workshops and more.
