World of Wearable Art is on now!
The World of Wearable Art or WOW is on in Wellington. The show is described as Cirque du Soleil vs Broadway and brings an eye catching and memorizing show of fashion, music, aerialists, dance, and art!
The ultimate part of the show is the Wearable Art competition which attracts designers from across the world. The competition is spit into 6 different categories including returning categories Aotearoa, open and Avant-grade. As well as new 2023 categories Gold, Bizarre Bra and Mars & beyond. Important note: The police have CLOSED a number roads in the CBD due to expected protesters at Parliament, so please allow extra time for parking. The current road closures include Hill Street closed between Molesworth/Aitken Streets and Guildford Terrace, Kate Sheppard Place, the Lambton Quay/Bowen Street intersection and Bunny Street near the bus depot. These may change, so please check your route before leaving.
