What: Takapuna Beach Latin Festival

Where: Takapuna Beach Reserve, AKL  

When: 2nd March, 11am - 7pm

Takapuna will be transformed into a Latin Fiesta on Saturday! The day will include free dance classes, cultural performances, lots of yummy kai and an arts and craft market.

What: Graham Nash  

Where: The Civic, AKL & Issac Theatre Royal CHC

When: 1st & 2nd March (AKL) 3rd March (CHC)

Graham Nash is performing 60 years of songs stories in Auckland and Christchurch. Performing songs from across his career he’ll be joined on stage by his long-time musical partners, Shane Fontayne (guitar and vocals) and Todd Caldwell (keyboards and vocals). Where: Spark Arena, AKL  

When: 2nd March

Blink 182 return for a massive global tour and are heading to Auckland on the 2nd March! This is the first time they have reunited in 10 years!

What: Holi-Festival of Colours

Where: Hagley Park, CHC

When: Saturday 2nd March

The Holi Festival of Colour is a traditional Indian festival to celebrate different cultures and all who live in Christchurch. The festival will have music, games, lots of kai options and plenty of colour! It’s recommended to wear old clothes you don’t mind getting stained. For more information click here.

What: Queens of The Stone Age  

Where: Wolfbrook Arena, CHC 

When: Sunday 3rd March,

Queens of the Stone Age are returning to Australasia with their The End is Nero Summer tour! The concert will play music from their 8th album ‘In Times New Roman’ which has been hailed as their darkest and knottiest material to date. For more information or for tickets click here.

What: Ocean Film Festival World Tour 

Where: Embassy Theatre, WLG 

When: Wednesday 6th March, 6.30pm      

The Ocean Film Festival is a 3-hour celebration of the ocean with film from above and below the ocean! This collection of short films covers everything from the power and beauty of the ocean to stories about divers and swimmers. For more information or tickets click here.

What: Morning People Street Party  

Where: Gloucester Street & Colombo Street, CHC  

When: Friday 8th March, 7am – 8.30am

Gloucester Street is closing for the morning to party the morning away! The event see’s the street turned into a morning dance party sure to kick start your day in the best possible way! The event is for all ages and is free, however you do need tickets. Best of all they’ll be complimentary coffee from Altezano Brothers and bananas and kombucha from Karma.

What: Pink Summer Carnival

Where: Forsyth Barr Stadium Dunedin and Eden Park Auckland  

When: 5th March (Dunedin) and 8th & 9th March (Auckland)  

Pink is returning to New Zealand for her Summer Carnival tour! Kicking off in Dunedin and then  Auckland, the tour is sure to be a crowd pleaser for all with her famous acrobatics!

What: Beyond Words

Where: Michael Fowler Centre, WLG

When: 9th March, 7.30pm – 9.05pm   

Beyond Words is a special concert as part of Unity Week to mark the 5th Anniversary of the Christchurch Mosque attacks. The show will bring a symphonic expression of solidarity and peace performed through music and song. The concert will be conducted by Fawzi Haimor, and will featuring powerful Moroccan vocalist OUM and oud virtuoso Kyriakos Tapakis. For tickets click here.

What: Hurricanes v Blues

Head to Sky Stadium for a double header of rugby as The Hurricanes take on Te Blues and the Hurricanes Poua take on Matatū. The games kick off at 4.35pm and 7.05pm

What: Auckland Boat Show   

Where: Viaduct Events Centre, Halsey Street, AKL CBD   

When: Friday 14th – Sunday 17th March,     

As part of the Moana Festival the Auckland Boat show is on over the 3rd weekend of March. The Auckland Boat show will showcase luxury motor yachts, sailing boats and the latest echnologt and accessories for the marine sector.

Head to Homegrown for New Zealand’s biggest music party! The concert will showcase Aotearoa’s biggest names in music across many different genres including Reggae, Roots, HipHop, Rock, Pop, Electric and Drum and Bass.

Out in The City is on at the Micheal Fowler event centre as part of Pride Season. The event is whanau friendly and will include market stalls, performers, food and drink stalls.

What: Cuba Dupa

Cuba Dupa is Wellington’s annual street party inspired by the vibrant Cuba Street the festival will bring together local artists, musicians, performers, and food vendors for a day celebration of Wellington!

After surprising fans in Australia with a pop up show, Fred Again is heading to New Zealand for two shows on the 26th and 27th March.  This will be the first time the Grammy Award winning English producer, DJ and songwriter has hit our shores and becoming a hugely popular show to attend!
