What is Subscription+?
Subscription+ is a free service available to all subscription customers parking at a Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) car park. When enabled, this service allows subscribers to park more cars than the reserved/unreserved bays they are paying for. This is achieved by a counting process, where each plate that enters the car park is counted and any overallotment (overage) will be charged as per the daily ParkMate Earlybird rate for that specific car park. All transactions are billed via monthly invoices.
Example: Company A has 3 reserved bays at car park X and has 5 vehicles associated to their account that share those 3 bays. On Tuesday, 3 vehicles entered the car park and filled their bays; a 4th vehicle then entered the car park. With Subscription+, the 4th user may park in a public parking bay. Company A’s account will be charged the ParkMate Earlybird rate for this single transaction. Upon entry, this user will be notified by email that they have a valid parking session for that day.

How do I opt in and opt out for Subscription+?
Easy! An administrator can opt in for Subscription+ by accessing the Customer Portal, clicking on the Account tab, followed by clicking on Subscription+ Settings. On this page you simply need to click Sign Up to opt in

How long does it take for Subscription+ to be live?
Subscription+ is instantly live from the moment you click Sign Up.

What if I decide to opt out?
Simply navigate back to the Subscription+ page and click Request Cancellation. One of our team members will be in touch to find out a little more about why you chose to cancel the service. The cancellation will be processed on the same day.

How will I know if the cancellation has been actioned?
A notification will appear on the Customer Portal once the cancellation has been requested and once it has been accepted.

What is the Subscription+ cancellation period?
There is none! Subscription+ is a fully flexible service.

How many number plates can I register?
You can enter as many or as little as you like. To get the most out of your service you would need to add more plates than contracts/ bays you lease.

How do I remove a number plate?
An administrator can action this by accessing the Customer Portal, clicking on Users and Vehicles. From there you can click on an existing plate to edit/delete or you may click Add User to add more contacts/plates.

How I am billed and when?
Each transaction (entry and exit over your allocation) is added to your monthly invoice. You are billed monthly, in arrears, on the first business day of the month.

What carparks have Subscription+?
Very few car parks have Subscription+, if you are interested in finding out more or want to know where it is available please speak with our Customer Care Team.

Why don’t all carparks have Subscription+?
We rely on LPR cameras to initiate Subscription+ and few car parks have them installed. However, the future is digital and we envision many more coming online!

How many admins can I have on the account?
You may have as many or as few admins as you wish. Bear in mind staff with Admin access can view sensitive information such as license plates and rates. They also have authority to make requests (such as additional bays, cancellations).

How quickly will I receive an email if I need to pay for my parking?
If you have not opted in for Subscription+ we aim to send the user (over allocation) an email within two minutes of entering the car park.

How can I check the emails we have registered on the Portal?
Access the Users and Vehicles screen to view and edit emails.

What happens if the carpark is full?
Please contact our Customer Care team and they will assist you in locating a nearby car park.
